LeoVince business was established in 1987, but it forms part of
the SITO Group, which boasts over 50 years of experience in the
production and sales of after-market silencers for motor vehicles.
The
production site premises extends over a covered area of 20,000
m2, where all the product-working operations are undertaken and
the relevant quality tests are carried out in connection with
every production process.
On acquiring European leadership in the 2-stroke scooter expansion
chambers, once a new production line for 4-stroke sports’
bikes was started in 1999, the need emerged to commercially diversify
the two lines and this led to the creation of the LeoVince Scoot
range of silencers for 2- and 4-stroke scooters, and a separate
LeoVince SBK range of silencers for the high-powered road sports’
bikes. The LeoVince X3 range was introduced in 2001 for off-road
bikes.
A product development department is currently being set up in
the USA, geared to serving the latest bike models, faster than
in Europe.
